Bits and Pieces . . .

  • The post office opened in Forestdale in August of 1910 with W.V. Duncan as postmaster. When he resigned in 1912, W. Mitchell took command in November of 1912 untill May of 1917. Albert George Sturgeon then assumed the duties of postmaster.
