Return to HMS Agamemnon
Stern needs a final coat of paint and then the Quarter Galleries will be ready for decorating.
Working on some of the hatches and companionways.
Getting ready to add the wales.
All the brass cannons painted black. (Missing one 24 pounder from the lower gun deck. Hmmm?)
Wales finished and a first lick of paint applied.
Other side now painted but it's hard to concentrate with the World Series post games in the background. Go Jays!!
Starboard side quarter decoration. Not quite done but you get the idea.
. . .
Dry fitting some of the bow components . . .
A bit more of the bow area completed.
All the necessary upper gundeck fixtures installed.
Now I have to assemble 25 gun carriages for the upper gundeck.
Gee, only 16 more to go for this deck.
Twenty-five 24 pounder cannons installed on the lower gundeck (1 missing).
Sixteen 18 pounder cannons installed on the upper gundeck.
Ten more need to be rigged to finish off the upper gundeck.
The units are a little on the small side to attach ropes and tackle!!
Upper gundeck's last cannons installed c/w breeching ropes.
Retract block & tackle to follow later.
