"We would consider a trade into Terrace BC"

This rural property is located on the sunny north shore of Francois Lake in central British Columbia, Canada. The closest town is Burns Lake, approximately 20 miles (32.2km) to the northeast via a well maintained all-weather paved highway. The largest nearby city is Prince George, approximately 135 miles (217km) to the east along Yellowhead Highway #16. Situated on 5.3 acres (2.05 hectares), this unique 3 bedroom home fronts on Francois Lake. Approximately 4 acres (1.62ha) is covered with trees consisting of spruce, pine, aspen and cottonwood. The timber is marketable. The home is situated facing south overlooking the Francois Lake and is approximately 85 feet (26m) above lake level. A wide path leads down to the lake and the approximate 545 ft (165m) of private lakeshore.

The area surrounding the home is landscaped with wide lawns and circular driveway providing a protective fireguard. All large trees in the proximity of our home and power lines have been professionally topped. Several large flower beds provide a blaze of contrasting colour to nature's green. Seasonal mushrooms such as morales, shaggy manes & others grow wild on the property. There is an abundance of wild berries on the property for the picking. Being a rural area, it's normal to have deer and other wild life in the vicinity.

Imagine having fishing right outside your front door. Rainbow trout, kokanee, ling cod, and char can be caught in the lake out front. The outlying areas abound with deer, moose and bear for the hunter. Enjoy year round sports.

Below is a panoramic view from our front deck.
